Recent accomplishments:

1. Played significant role in passage of the federal Emergency Homeowners Loan Program, which in 2011 helped 568 unemployed homeowners in Massachusetts save their homes from foreclosure
2. Played significant role in national policy for 12 month forbearance foreclosure protection for unemployed homeowners facing foreclosure begun July 2011
3. Played significant role in passage of 2010 State Foreclosure Prevention law to protect tenants in foreclosed homes from arbitrary eviction and to create incentives that could lead to more loan modifications to prevent foreclosures.

Current organizing work:

1. For passage of state and local foreclosure prevention mediation laws
2. National work with the PICO National Network and the New Bottom Line Coalition on bank responsibility issues
